Townsville stands with Venezuela

Help Us Support People Affected by the Earthquakes in Venezuela 🇻🇪❤️

On 24 June 2026, two powerful earthquakes (magnitudes 7.2 and 7.5) struck northern Venezuela within seconds of each other, devastating communities across the region.

Thousands of families have lost their homes and are now facing an uncertain future. Many remain in temporary shelters, with limited access to safe housing, clean water, food and other essential services.

We have created this fundraiser to support people affected by the earthquakes in Venezuela through Caritas Australia's Venezuela Earthquake Appeal. Working with its local partner, Cáritas Venezuela, Caritas is providing emergency assistance directly to affected communities and helping families begin rebuilding their lives.

Your donation will help provide temporary shelter and safe accommodation, clean drinking water, food and essential supplies, hygiene and sanitation, as well as support communities as they begin to rebuild.
