Ukraine Crisis
At the beginning of 2025, the full-scale war in Ukraine entered a new phase with an escalation of hostilities, leading to further displacement of the population. The intensity of the conflict increased due to coordinated airstrikes targeting civilian infrastructure across the country, significantly complicating humanitarian response efforts. Attacks on homes, schools, and hospitals continue, leaving millions without access to basic needs.
What is the scale of the suffering in Gaza?
Over 70,000 people have been killed in Gaza, including thousands of children.
Over 170,000 people have been injured.
1.7 million people displaced roughly 80–85% of Gaza’s population.
Up to 93% of homes have been severely damaged or destroyed.
Gaza Crisis
Famine has been declared in Gaza, with the trapped population facing starvation, critical levels of acute malnutrition and death. Homes, hospitals and essential water and sanitation infrastructure have been destroyed. Despite dangerous and challenging conditions, our partners on the ground are continuing to deliver emergency aid and are adapting their approach where it is needed.
What is the scale of suffering in Sudan
30 million people are in need of acute humanitarian assistance.
Over 14 million of those in need are children.
Over 13 million people have been forced to flee their homes.
Over 20,000 people have been killed since April 2023.
Sudan Crisis
The world’s largest displacement and hunger crisis. Over 12 million people are displaced, and famine is confirmed. As the conflict reaches over 1,000 days, the crisis is now the world’s largest humanitarian and displacement emergency. We must act now.
What is the scale of the suffering in Lebanon
1.1 million people displaced with shelters overflowing, leaving many with no choice but to sleep in parks or on the streets.
More than 138,532 people are sheltering across 669 collective shelters across the country.
1,497 people have been killed including over 125 children.
3,200 people have been injured, including around 400 children and more than 450 women.
