Les Suisses d’Australie se mobilisent pour Caritas
Réunis autour de leur parcours commun entre la Suisse et l’Australie, les membres des Suisses d’Australie souhaitent mettre leur énergie et leur esprit d’initiative au service d’une cause solidaire. Composée notamment de petites entreprises spécialisées dans l'e-réputation et de professionnels du secteur technologique, cette communauté a choisi d’organiser une collecte au profit de Caritas Australia. Une manière de mettre les compétences, les réseaux et les relations développés dans le monde professionnel au service d’une action concrète en faveur de personnes et de communautés qui ont besoin de soutien. Les petites entreprises tech connaissent bien la valeur de la collaboration. Un projet qui commence avec quelques personnes peut prendre de l’ampleur lorsque chacun apporte ses compétences et son engagement. C’est exactement dans cet esprit que cette collecte a été créée : réunir de nombreuses contributions, même modestes, afin de soutenir les actions de Caritas Australia.Help make the world a little bit better, every day.

Lam, a young man from rural Vietnam with a passion for graphic design, faced limited career prospects due to his disability. With support from the I-SHINE program, he pursued IT training and now runs a successful freelance graphic design business.

Leaia, Samoa
Not having access to a reliable source of clean water was very difficult for Leaia and her family. But with the support of Caritas Australia, a water tank was installed at their home, improving their health and living conditions.

Priscilla, Zimbabwe
Zimbabwe is experiencing an intense drought, exacerbated by climate change. With the support of Caritas Hwange, Priscilla learnt conservation farming skills to grow drought-resistant crops and started poultry farming to support her family during the current food crisis.
