We are raising funds for Caritas Australia's Venezuela Earthquake Appeal to help communities devastated by the recent earthquakes in Venezuela.
On 24 June 2026, two powerful earthquakes struck Venezuela within hours of each other, causing widespread destruction across several regions. Thousands of people lost their lives, many more were injured, and countless families were left without homes, access to clean water, food, or essential medical care.
This tragedy has occurred at a time when millions of people in Venezuela were already facing significant economic hardship. The earthquakes have only deepened the humanitarian crisis, leaving many communities in urgent need of assistance.
Caritas Australia, through its local partner Caritas Venezuela, is providing life-saving emergency relief to those most affected. Your donation will help deliver:
- Emergency food and clean drinking water
- Temporary shelter and essential household supplies
- Hygiene and sanitation assistance
- Medical and pastoral support
